Granada Studios Tour
Granada Studios opened in July 1988 and was one of three parks operated by the Granada company, with Camelot and American Adventure.
The park attempted to put a British spin on the Studio Park concept, integrating the existing Coronation Street set, with its famous cobbles and the most famous pub in the country, The Rovers Return.
The park caught the attention of thrillseekers in 1997 with the opening of Skytrak, the world’s first flying roller coaster, which operated for less than two seasons before closing with the rest of the park in 1998.
