Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach

Dating from 1909, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is one of the UK’s largest seaside parks and one of the oldest too. Although not quite as well know as its namesake in Blackpool, the park offers a number of unique experiences.

Dominated by the Roller Coaster, this Scenic Railway is identical to the one formerly located at Barry Island. It has operate under a number of guises over the years, with the current ‘flag’ facade dating from the early 1990s.

The ride is one of only a handful of rides that operates with a ‘brake man’.

Elsewhere on the park, there is a substantial triple log flume, a fun house and a number of flat rides. Historic rides include a carousel and The Snails dating from 1966.
