Legoland Windsor

Legoland Windsor opened as the second Legoland park in 1996, on the site of the former Windsor Safari Park that had closed in February 1992.

The park contains a number of rides and attractions themed around the popular construction toy that gives the park its name. A staple feature of any Legoland park is ‘Miniland’, the Windsor example features a number of domestic and world landmarks painstakingly created in Lego.

In 2005, the park became part of the Merlin Entertainments family and became the park’s first theme park in the United Kingdom. The park has continue to expand its ride and attraction line up and two hotels now operate on the property.
