Pleasure Island

Pleasure Island opened at Cleethorpes in May 1993 and operated on the former site of Cleethorpes Zoo. The park was built by the Flamingo Land company under the direction of Robert Gibb.

The park was home to good selection of rides including a Vekoma Boomerang that served as the park’s signature ride. A number of thrill rides including Hyperblaster and Hydromax, some family rides and some animal attractions completed the line up.

In September 2016, the park announced that it would not be reopening the following year and closed its gates for the last time on 29th October 2016.
