Wipeout at Pleasurewood Hills began life as the Glasgow Garden Festival ‘Coca-Cola Roller’ and it also operated at American Adventure as Missile before making its way to Lowestoft.

Pleasurewood Hills attracted 246,000 visitors in its first season

Pleasurewood Hills takes its name from Pleasurewood Hill, a road that runs local to the park

Woody Bear, the Pleasurewood Hills mascot was created by Keith Sparks who among others was instrumental in the creation of the Alton Towers Haunted House and Chessington Bubbleworks

The Wipeout roller coaster at Pleasurewood Hills came from American Adventure, but the train from the ride did not. It came from Walibi Holland.

The UK now has only two operating roller coasters built by the Schwartzkopf company (Raptor Attack at Lightwater Valley and Cannonball Express at Pleasurewood Hills).
