‘Horror’ and ‘Spooky’ themed attractions are now commonplace, with Halloween now one of the most popular and profitable periods of the season. However, in the 1990s, these attractions were largely limited to ghost trains and spooky walk throughs.
In 1998, Blackpool Pleasure Beach upped the ante and brought a new type of attraction the UK. Pasaje del Terror (translating to Passage of Terror) was born out of a Spanish concept, which later appeared in Orlando as Terror on Church Street.
Over twenty years later, the attraction remains popular, with frequent screams emanating from the beautiful casino building at the northern entrance to the park.
No spoilers here … you’ll have to try it, if you dare! Here we share the original teaser poster used by the park.
