It’s the year 2000, Pleasureland Southport is going through one of the most exciting periods in its history. Over the previous two decades, the Thompson family have completely redrawn the park, introducing a raft of new rides and refurbishing much of the park’s infrastructure.
In 1998, Chaos debuted opposite the Cyclone station, with TRAUMAtizer opening in 1999 and King Solomon’s Mines moving down the coast ready for the 2000 season.

Just six years later, the park would close for good, as you will discover in our future Pleasureland content.
