Here we roll back to 2002, the year that the transformation of Thorpe Park really stepped up a gear. Colossus was to be a roller coaster that received worldwide attention, a record breaker with ten inversions.
Much of the ride’s layout was borrowed from Monte Makaya, with two additional inversions included to break the record.
