Thorpe Park postcards are extremely prevalent throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. Later, as the postcard form diminished in popularity and the park’s target market changed, they become far less common.
- Top – This is the model of the BT Tower in Model World, a longtime favourite in the Thorpe line up from the park’s opening in 1979 until its removal in 2005, in preparation for the building of Stealth. It was home to a number of buildings and objects in 1/36th-scale model form, including Nelson’s Column, a Saturn V Rocket and the Sears Tower.
- Middle – Longtime (and current) favourite Storm in a Teacup, prior to its association with Tetley
- Bottom – This photograph comes from the Invaders of Britain collection of exhibits, part of the Roman area. This section of the park is now unused for guest activities and serves as a back of house area.
